School registration procédures for 2023-2024

 ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA

• Have full-time 4- and/or 5-year-old kindergarten students

• Be a school in the public network

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

If your school participated to our vision screenings in 2022-2023, you should have already received a link through our automated system confirming your school's automatic re-registration. 

If your school was not registered for our screenings in 2022-2023 and you would like it to benefit from our visual prevention service or if you didn't receive the registration link, contact info@ecoledelavue.ca to obtain the registration information .

VISUAL HEALTH CONTRIBUTES SIGNIFICANTLY TO EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS

Children are visual learners, with up to 80% of their learning occurring through sight. Following visits to more than 1 400 schools and the screening of close to 100 000 preschool-aged children as part of this project, the data reveals that close to 4 out of 10 children were referred to a clinic for a complete eye examination.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOOLS

As this project requires significant logistical coordination, schools that are registered for vision screening activities must be involved to help facilitate the process. We are grateful for your collaboration, which is a key part of the project’s success.
